HISTORY AND MISSION STATEMENT We at Zambowear have been manufacturing garments in Bali, Indonesia, for 19 years. We are a small business, dealing directly with other small businesses halfway across the world. We know the owners and their workers, and we know that you, too, would be totally comfortable with the working conditions in these small factories. We have recently added a line of cotton baby rib t shirts made in Xiamen, China, and garment-dyed in exotic Tukwila, (near Sea-Tac Airport). ZAMBOANGA was started in 1987 by Joe and Julia Ensley, after they met on a bus in Sumatra, Indonesia. Joe grew up on a horse farm in Bainbridge Island, Washington, and Julia is a native of the United Kingdom, where her grandparents owned a department store. Toby is a 9 year old Portuguese Waterdog.
